Heimann Sensor GmbH is an established manufacturer of highest quality infrared thermopiles, thermopile modules (including advanced signal processing) and thermopile arrays for remote temperature measurement and gas detection. With high innovation power, Heimann Sensor is the world market leader for low pixel count infrared imaging. Our thermopile arrays also hold the world record for the highest spatial resolution thermopile array with 120x84 pixels. Besides thermopiles, our product portfolio includes pyroelectric sensors, infrared light sources and vacuum sensors .
Heimann Sensor manufactures more than 15 million sensors each year and the trend is rising. Our main production site Heimann Sensor Packaging Sdn. Bhd is located in Senai, Malaysia.
We are a
DIN EN ISO 9001 certified company. In addition to the production and distribution of our products, we attach much importance to the research and development of new, still better, smaller and faster infrared thermopile products and devices for gas concentration measurements.
Heimann Sensor GmbH was founded early 2002 with five employees having about 100 years of combined infrared experience. The headquarters of the company is Dresden with a branch in Eltville. Initially, the smallest thermopile chips in the world were developed and transferred to pilot production. Later, the production of the smallest thermopile chips and smallest sensor modules of the world started. Today, Heimann Sensor is technology leader in infrared sensors for contactless temperature measurement and gas detection as well as technology and market leader in infrared thermopile arrays for thermal imaging. Currently, Heimann Sensor is a worldwide company with about 220 employees, international sales offices on 4 continents and manufacturing lines in Germany and Asia.
